2024 Impact Statement

2024 Impact Statement

At SickBirdie Disc Golf, Inc., we are dedicated to growing the sport of disc golf by fostering inclusivity and engagement among women and youth. Here are some examples of our commitment to community-driven impact:

27 players participated in our second annual March Fourth and Laugh On fundraiser event. The random doubles format paired players of all skill levels together to help new players gain confidence and build camaraderie. In total, SickBirdie was able to donate $300 to the local disc golf club, the Garden City Flyers.

37 participants took part in our Lone Star Discs 3-disc challenge, allowing us to introduce a beginner-centric disc manufacturer to new players and help us highlight a local Lone Star Disc sponsored player through a competitive yet accessible event.

14 player entry fees were fully covered, ensuring financial barriers did not prevent participation.

$1450 in sponsorship funds directly supported event operations and future initiatives including the Montana State Juniors Showdown and the Maiden Montana events.

60 volunteer hours were contributed toward course maintenance and event operations, enhancing local facilities and ensuring a high-quality experience for all participants.

40 discs given away to new players, equipping them with the tools needed to continue their disc golf journey.

Through initiatives like this, we continue to provide opportunities for individuals of all ages to connect, learn, and grow through the sport of disc golf. With additional funding, we can expand our reach, improve course accessibility, and increase participation among underrepresented groups.

In 2024, we focused on giving back to the disc golf community while also working toward achieving 501(c)(3) nonprofit status—a goal we successfully reached in September. We are grateful for the support of community, sponsors, volunteers, and donors who make our mission possible. Your investment directly impacts the future of disc golf and the communities we serve.
